Thoughts/adventures through life

Immigration March

So yesterday I went to an Immigration march dealing with the reform that was taking place in Arizona. Apparently Minnesota along with 9 other states want to pass something along the lines of what Arizona just passed within the past two weeks! (which by the way is nuts). This whole issue is nuts. I have been reading article after article about this and WOW! Does it amaze me at what people are trying to do to make sure that curtain groups don’t get in the United States and to make it known that they support racial profiling and everything. Anyways… (sorry about my little rant there but it’s nuts) I was at this march yesterday with some friends of mine and I saw a sign that said “Humans are not illegal”. I thought that was a pretty cool sign.

That sign is more then right! Humans are not illegal so why do we treat them that way? I mean it does not make sense to treat people differently because of the color of their skin. We are all humans and we deserve to be treated with respect. Screw this whole white privilege shit. People need to get down off from their high horse and start to see things for what they really are. If you are that “privilege” that it has made you that blind and stupid then you need more help then what most people can give you right now.

People need to stop with showing off their power and just stop treating people that are different then you like shit. Everybody has feelings and wants to have the same opportunity just like the next person. So why would you want to do racial profiling and try and kick them out of the United States. This is suppose to be a land of opportunity and a place for people to come and make a better life for themselves. Why would you want to deny them of this. Who give you the right to do this? The system that we have set up for people has failed in my opinion. There is no equal chance for everybody to get the same right. Even the people that try their hardest it’s even hard for them to move up the chain and make a better life for themselves and the people around them. The system is set up to keep people in their place and have it be damn near impossible for them to move up the ladder to success. It does not matter the color of your skin. That does play a part in it but another thing that will always play a part in it as well is your gender. If your a women it’s still hard to climb up the ladder today. We have come a long way yes but there is still a lot to improve on.

So I guess my question to those who read this and understand where I am coming from is are you ready to continue to fight the fight for those who can’t do it themselves? Are you willing to be that voice for the person that can’t do it themselves for whatever the reason might be? Are you willing to take a stand for the injustice that is happening every day around you?
